Fujitsu Systems Europe (FSE) and NICE have created a joint technology solution for distributed computing and data environments that combines Fujitsu’s SynfiniWay, an innovative service-oriented IT framework, with the EnginFrame Grid portal. The light weight solution solution allows users to scale their activities across a global infrastructure, working through a customer-oriented browser interface from their desktop. SynfiniWay provides a virtualized IT framework that removes the complexity associated with accessing dispersed and heterogeneous computational resources and data stores. EnginFrame Grid Portal gives globally dispersed end-users a simple interface for HPC and compute intensive applications accessible by SynfiniWay. SynfiniWay also comes with an advanced workflow engine to automate any user process. Now users can connect to these same workflow tasks - managed by the built-in meta-scheduler - through EnginFrame and run complete workflows rather than single jobs.
