NICE is delighted to announce the next training event located in the historic and breathtaking surroundings of the Cortanze Castle - Asti, Italy. The training event promises to be an opportunity to increase know-how for professionals in the HPC (High Performing Computing), Grid and Cloud Computing sector.
During your time at Cortanze Castle you can immerse yourself in the peace and tranquility of the Piedmont region and relax while discovering the local gastronomic traditions.

The event is composed of "five-days" of training - from 26 to 30 October 2009 - on Software Technologies for the deployment of High-level Infrastructures oriented towards HPC, Grid Computing and Cloud Computing.

In detail, the program consists of two sessions:

1. LSF Administration Course (3 days, 26-28 October 2009, Euro 1.500):
   Control and administration of Platform LSF, the leader software for the management and the acceleration of workload processing;
2. EnginFrame Basic Course (2 days, 29-30 October 2009, Euro 900):
   then, a comprehensive exploration of EnginFrame, the user-friendly web-based interface, that simplifies the jobs submission, while speeding up the execution, allowing the monitoring and control of each process.

Participant registering for both courses (LSF & EnginFrame) are automatically entitled to a 5% discount on the total participation fee. A further 5% discount shall be applied in case your company has ordered, for the current year, maintenance services for software products marketed by NICE.

Travel and Living Expenses will have to be borne by the participant.

Logistics

The Castle of Cortanze is just 14 km from Asti, 50km from Torino and 120 km from Milano.
You can reach Cortanze:

•    by car from Torino:
Highway A 21 Torino-Piacenza, exit Asti Ovest, take the national road Asti-Chivasso and after 14km you get to the Castle.

•    by car from Milano:
Highway A7 Milano-Piacenza, reach the junction to A21 Piacenza-Torino, exit Asti Ovest: take the national road Asti-Chivasso, and after 14km you get to the Castle.

•    by train: closest railways station Asti (then Taxi for 14 km)

•    by plane: closest airport: Torino Caselle-Sandro Pertini Airport (50km)
